Attendees: Garth Huber (GH), Stephen Kay (SK), Ali Usman (AU),
5
Vijay Kumar (VK), Richard Trotta (RT)

8
-------
9
- Python script to grab info from report file
10
- Some temporary parts for now
11
- Aim is to have multiple scripts called by one main script (which then runs
12
all of the others that are needed)
13
- GH - Q on version management
14
- RT/SK - *Should* be handled by GitHub w/o issue, so long as it is
15
committed frequently
16
- Each script will create a dictionary, they will be combined to a dataframe
17
which is saved to a .csv file
18
- GH Q - What is needed still?
19
- RT A - Some info still missing, CPULT, time of run etc
20
- No efficiency erros on the hodoscopes
21
- CT blocking efficiencies
22
- Run length, beam on time with current cuts applied
23
- Concern on run length (after current cut) determination
24
- Hard wired 5uA cut?
25
- Needs to be more flexible
26
- To do so, would probably need to be in a script
27
- Did we ever even get below 5uA for KaonLT/PionLT2019?
28
- Set it to 2.5uA as a threshold?
29
- Should work for all physics settings
30
- HeePCoin efficiencies, need HMS and SHMS still *if* we use these
31
32

---
34
- Discussion on TrackEff for Singles and Coin events. The discussion turned
35
out to be extremely useful, as we discovered some misunderstandings on what
36
was being done.
37
- Analysis currently removes any non-coincidence events almost immediately,
38
so all effs are calculated only from Coin events
39
- The issue is that the detector efficiencies are presumably driven by the
40
raw particle flux incident on the detector, and this corresponds most
41
closely to the Singles event distribution. Coins have a hardware
42
requirement of a coincidence with the other spectrometer, so even if no
43
further cuts are applied on the "other spectrometer" the distribution of
44
hits across the detector will reflect this, and likely will be different
45
than the "raw flux"
46
- In addition, the statistical error in the efficiency is likely to be
47
smaller from the Singles events than from the Coins (at least this was the
48
case in Fpi-2)
49
- *Need specific "coin and single" efficiencies for any strongly rate
50
dependent efficiency, so that differences between them can be checked and
51
understood*
52
- Need to modify cuts file used in online data
53
- Compute both ways (from Singles events and from Coin events) for
54
- Gas cherenkovs
55
- DC
56
- Tracking
57
- CPULT
58
- Also need to propagate these changes into the offline KaonLT scripts
59
- Good idea to *Date tag and version the .csv file created by the script*
60
i.e. not the date the .csv file was created, but the date-version of the
61
script used to create it
62
63
- GH: What do we need for this in the next week to 10 days to try to get
64
normalised yields?
65
- AU - Mark asked for a document on Hodo Effs calculation
66
- need to trace through hcana on variables to be used
67
- AU - Need exact cuts for other aerogel trays for different indices of
68
refraction
69
- Need them from a quick analyis, *not* the positions as recorded on the
70
flat tray
71
- Will need cuts, in principle, per tray installation, as the aerogel can
72
shift in the tray during craning operations
73
- RT will get these numbers to Ali
74
