Participants: - Richard Trotta, CUA - Pete Markowitz, FIU - Jacob Murphy, Ohio - Nathan Heinrich, Garth Huber, Muhammad Junaid, Vijay Kumar, Love Preet, Regina Please remember to post your slides at: https://redmine.jlab.org/projects/kltexp/wiki/Kaon_LT_Meetings Nathan ------ - Mode-10 Update - Mark had suggested to change the pulse amplitude threshold in hcana - is 10mV in hardware - was 5mV in hcana - changing amplitude threshold in software doesn't seem to work - weird difference between FADC and hcana in PuseTimeRaw (different plot scaling?) - PulseAmpRaw, Pulse IntRaw look very similar - *Suggestions* Huber: Eager to see what physics Mode-10 data look like, comparing high and low rate runs Jacob ----- - Analysis of EDTM Study #2 - currents were 10uA, 55uA, various PS1,2,3,4 Run 13898: TLT=1.002, 55uA, PS2=8, PS4=5 Run 13900: TLT=0.918, 55uA, PS2=8 - apparently this can make sense, since the HMS EDTMs block the SHMS EDTMs, due to their lower PS. - can separate the HMS, SHMS EDTM timing distributions by doing a fit, since the individual shapes are known from other runs Run 13905: TLT=1.047, 100Hz EDTM rate - need to investigate this more. - *Task for JM* - will think about writing an MC to understand these data - Richard's EDTM Study w/o Beam Run 14140: Three EDTM 1kHz time raw peaks observed - not seen in regular LUMI runs - * Question for future study* - can these extra peaks be reflections that maybe are part of the TLT>1 problem? Vijay ----- - Looking at Q2=0.38, 0.42 Heep data (Summer 2019) 2.7 GeV: 1 coin, 6 singles setting 3.6 GeV: 1 coin 4.5 GeV: 1 coin - for one run, the data doesn't look like a Heep run, so this needs to be checked - * Suggestions* - need to recheck beam energy and angles in STANDARD.KINEMATICS Next Meeting ------------ Wednesday Feb 9 at Noon Eastern/11:00 Regina
