Richard Updates
---------------
DG, AU, RT met Monday on implementing HGC hole cut in SIMC
  - a common recon_hcana script will be used to calculate the variables and
    apply the cut for both hcana and SIMC
  - for now, the same HGC cut is used for low and high epsilon (Vijay's hole)
  - a larger hole will have to be drawn for the 10.6 GeV (high eps) data

GH, AU, RT, VK met to clarify some issues with LT-separation procedure
  - RT had a bug when combining runs, bug related to the RF time windows
  - *REMINDER* use Stephen's TOF-corrected RF variables for pi/K/p to get
    optimal RF resolution/particle separation

MMk plot with PeterB's adjusted Aerogel cut <4pe & -5<RFtime<5ns
  - HGC hole cut also implemented, <1.5pe removes proton events
  - something seemed wrong, the hole cut removed way too many events
  - upon further check, RT realizes the cut was backwards, keeping ONLY the
    hole

Ali Updates
-----------
- new effic calcs w/finalized PID cuts for analysis & recalculating them
- setting up SIMC for LT-sep iterations
   - DG pushed Delta Breit-Wigner shape changes from PeterB
      - code is in physics_pion.f, uses exclusive pi+n model and applies
        scaling factor
      - longer term, we should make physics_delta_recoil.f with an entirely new
        cross section model, after we have LT-separated results
- PID cuts finlized for pi+
   - working on t-binning

Vijay Updates
-------------
HMS calorimeter efficiency update
  - Heep data are very clean, applied >0.7 cut, but would get same efficiency
    if a lower cut >0.2 was used
  - get efficiency 0.9979+/-4E-5
  - will apply this efficiency to ALL data, even those physics runs P<1 GeV/c
    with lower cut, as we discussed last week

Next steps
  - restart Lumi and boiling studies
     - EDTM-LT already tested, no questions

Alicia Updates

PARTONS implementation
  - meeting tomorrow morning with Pawel Sznajder (Nat.Cent.Nucl.Res. Poland) on
    the discrepancy seen between her cross section values and those sent by GK

- GH, AP discussed a BSA paper outline
  - Overleaf project is set up
  - will draft assuming we submit to PRL
  - won't have space to list asymmetry results with two different fits 
     - can submit supplemental information (table of results, which can list
       both)
     - but the paper discussion will most likely be based on a weighted-average
       of the two results

Nathan Updates

HGC calib
  - reviews photoelectron fits from Vijay's code
  - puzzling trend in calib params
  - linear fits vs Run#
     - decreasing gain stopped after Dec/21 for PMTS 2,3,4
     - DG is planning to discuss this with Dave Mack now that he's back
  - has not yet implemented the calib fit functions into hcana
    standard.database

Working on verifying standard.kinematics for 2021 data

Junaid Updates
--------------
Fixing param files for 2021-22
   - OfflinePionLT_xxx-yyy.param
   - NH suggests to use a sed command to replace line43 in a uniform manner
     during the calorimeter calib process

Portia Updates
--------------
First comparison of PeterB's SIDIS model to MM histo shape right of DeltaPi
events looks promising
   - only plan to use SIDIS and DeltaPi SIMC distributions to get the shape,
     not the magnitude
   - will show some plots after more work has been done
