Description
Conversion of raw photomultiplier tube data to calibrated "PMT signal" data products, applying pedestals and gains.
In principle, the same algorithm should be usable for both Cherenkovs and the calorimeter PMTs as well as other PMT-based detectors which may come. Corrections for track angle or other detector-specific effects should be made in separate algorithms that produce the same, calibrated data product but with a different producer tag, which can selected by a subsequent analysis algorithm (e.g. clustering).
