EDTM Checks¶

• Change Poisson rate to desired value on pulse generator (check GUI for rate change by using go_prescale_SHMS)
• Take runs at desired prescales individually
  • PS1 = SHMS 3/4
  • PS2 = SHMS el_real
  • PS3 = HMS el_real
  • PS4 = HMS 3/4
  • PS5 = SHMS 3/4 & HMS el_real
  • PS6 = SHMS 3/4 & HMS 3/4
• Once run is taken...
  1. ./hcana ~/SCRIPTS/../SCALER/<scaler script>.C
  2. Input run number
  3. Check report file (~/hallc_replay/REPORT_OUTPUT/.../SCALER/<reportreplay>.report)
  4. Check computer livetime for ROC2
  5. Compare to buffer test plots in hclog (see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3589170)
• Repeat for other Poisson rates (Note: 1kHz-10kHz is the range for buffer tests)
