Richard Updates
24
---------------
25
- Luminosity replays will be running soon
26
- Waiting on this from Ali, tracking updates needed
27
- Needed to fix some errors in report files
28
29
- Discussed with Bill over email regarding LT software, waiting for more info
30
31
- starting to generalize Heep script for Physics
32
- looking to implement t-binning similar to Alicia's work
33
- GH: Bill handles it in his LT separation code, should probably stay there
34
for Richard too. The idea is to read in the SIMC and Expt data for all
35
angles at a given (Q2,W) at once and handle them together. So there's no
36
advantage to put the t-binning before the LT code

39
-------------
40
- Met with Holly two weeks ago, another meeting tomorrow
41
- 6.8 GeV/c HMS matrix didn't seem very well optimised, trying to make
42
improvements
43
Run 14973: Central Foil. Run 14970: Multi-Foil
44
- HMS PolTar ME fit
45
- Very long target ME from A1n
46
- Actually does an OK job at -ve delta for the -8.0 foil
47
- Applied optimizations, so Three ME are studied:
48
1) Original ME 2) PolTar not optimized 3) PolTar optimized
49
- Xsieve holes resolve better after ME optimizations are applied
50
- some weird tilt in the holes at Ysieve ~4cm
51
- PolTar matrix is smaller than other matrices
52
- looking at to increase polynomial order in ME
53
- DG: use COSY to calculate higher order ME and start with that
54
55
- Will move on to looking at SHMS ME corrections soon
56
- Highest was ~8 GeV/c in SHMS?
57
- HB, Q1 saturation may play a role at higher momentum
58
- DG: weird correlations were observed between W_elastic & delta that Casey
59
had to remove from 2019 data, hopefully you don't find the same problem
60
61
Stephen Updates
62
---------------
63
- Looking to remove correlation between RFtime and CoinTime
64
- will push what he has to GITHUB soon
65
66
- Hall C workshop in January
67
- Agenda needs to be finalised a bit, a few talks planned
68
- One LT separation talk (both PionLT/KaonLT) - Nathan
69
- Spectrometer/Magnet performance talk - Jacob
70
- Tracking performance talk - Ali
71
- Summer meeting, Alicia give a talk on beam helicity asymmetries
72
73
- Quarterly analysis meeting
74
