- Began looking at runs 13747, 13559, 11590, 11589 and 12382, making the first cut at HCALe < 0.01 to focus on the primary clusters and plotting the distributions. The gaussian distribution is similar to the time between the electric arm trigger and the time that the HCal recorded the signal from an elastic event. Distribution is given by a gaussian fit, with the chi-square method and using the improve fit results option.
- Find the mean of the time
- Find the width of the distribution
- correlate these to the timing resolution

Looked at the time difference between neighboring blocks in order to study the time offset. Added cuts to the TimeDiff script so that the time difference is calculated with the energy cuts already included. Cuts were made on the pre-shower energy, shower energy and on W^2. I chose the histogram with the most events to look at, channel 125, neighbor 1. The sigma value is equal to 1.02749. Next a cut for dy may be added and timing corrections, such as TOF should be applied. The time difference for tdc will be found next. I'm not sure whether or not to apply cuts to the tdc time, nor what cuts I would apply.
